# How to manage and sign out devices from amazon.com/mytv

Every time you sign in through **amazon.com/mytv**, Amazon remembers that device. Over the years a Prime account can collect dozens of TVs, sticks, and phones. Cleaning up the list keeps your account secure and frees space for new devices.

## Why manage devices at amazon.com/mytv?

## View every device linked through amazon.com/mytv

    Click your name at the top, choose **Account**, then **Content and Devices > Devices**.

## Deregister a device

1. Select the device from the list.
2. Click **Deregister**.
3. Confirm the action.

The device will be logged out from Prime Video the next time it tries to stream. To use it again, open Prime Video on that TV and repeat amazon.com/mytv activation.

## Rename a device

On the device details page click **Edit** next to the name. Useful names like "Living Room Fire TV" or "Bedroom Samsung" make the amazon.com/mytv list much easier to scan.

## Security best practices
